So this semester we have planned the portion of the Black Education Project: "Bridging the Gap" to be on March 27th at the Downtown Campus.

We will be having high school students from San Antonio join us for a showcase of UTSA and it's African American community. Both social and academic programs, jobs, and organizations will be showcased. If you would like to be a part of it please email us at BSLC.UTSA@gmail.com

We will need volunteers to help spread the word to boys and girls clubs, high schools on the east side, and also for the day of the event.  We will begin very soon getting the word out.  If your interested let us know!



Plans for Ujima are also underway.  The ideal date will be the week of April 19-22nd.  If you would like to assist with this program also let us know!

Speak to Me has unoffically been postponed until the beginning of Fall 2010 semester where we feel it will have a greater effect on UTSA students.
